Emily Priebe
Emily Priebe is the Showroom Manager at Ladco Design Center, bringing nearly two decades of experience in luxury home furnishings and design-focused retail. Known for her thoughtful leadership and commitment to the design community, Emily is passionate about building lasting client relationships, advancing business growth, and fostering a culture of creativity. Before joining Ladco, she held sales and showroom leadership roles where she led collaborative sales, trade, and design teams, supported large-scale residential projects, and strengthened her connection to Houston’s design landscape.
Emily holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design and is the founder of Shiny Elephants, a boutique tabletop textile studio that reflects her love of thoughtful craftsmanship and creative expression. Outside of work, she is happiest by the water with a good book, finding balance through yoga, and traveling with her family.

What is your favorite movie?
Sense & Sensibility (1995) with Emma Thompson and Kate Winslet. I’m a lifelong Jane Austen fan and can quote nearly the whole film. It beautifully captures the relationship between two sisters who are so different, yet so connected. It’s a perfect reminder to live with both heart and reason.
What is your favorite design aesthetic?
Midcentury modern balanced with an eclectic, well-traveled mix. I admire industrial designers like the Eameses, Eva Zeisel and Richard Sapper, who made beautiful design accessible, but I love blending in antiques and heirlooms that add warmth and embellishments. To me, the best spaces, and the best designs, are the ones that tell a story.
