Jim Goergen
Since joining Ladco as CEO in early 2024, Jim partnered with the company’s founders (Phillip and Ronnie Ladin whom he has known for more than 20 years) to lead its successful sale to a group of strategic investors in June 2025. The partnership positions Ladco for accelerated growth through strategic capital investment and expanded relationships across North America.
Previously, Jim served as CEO of Design Environments, a private-equity-backed commercial design and procurement firm with six U.S. offices and global sourcing operations in Vietnam, serving hospitality, multifamily, student housing, luxury residential, and senior living sectors. Jim brings more than 30 years of C-suite leadership experience across luxury residential design, commercial interiors, furniture manufacturing, retail fixtures, and high-end custom millwork.
Jim has deep expertise in business development, strategic planning, digital commerce (B2B and B2C), lean manufacturing, global sourcing, and financial and operational leadership, through his 35+ years of growing privately held businesses.
A strong advocate for organizational culture and employee development, Jim is also deeply committed to community service, with over 20 years of involvement with City of Hope and participation in local organizations. He enjoys traveling with his wife of 35+ years, their two daughters, sons-in-law, and three grandchildren.

Clark Kent, not Superman. Clark is very unassuming until he is asked to solve an injustice. He doesn’t seek the limelight. He just wants to make the world bright.

Travel, spend time with my girls and grandson and enjoy the outdoors!
